I have my very own explanation why the characters are arranged like that. Since our Snow and Caius didn't make it, we were down to five. Hope and Serah at the left, symbolizes the past. Not only their standing at XIII-2 but also they are both returning characters. Hope is trying to find a way to travel through the future to find Lightning and maybe, even his mom. Serah, travels through the timeline. From the past, to the future. She can also see the future. Noel and Yeul at the right symbolizes the future. Noel being the last human alive on his era and Yeul being the seeress and because there are many Yeuls. Lightning at the middle symbolizes her standing as the knight of the goddess, Etro. Lightning is at the unseen realm also known as Valhalla, where time doesn't exists.

So yep.

We are all good friends in real life.
We're also the first one to debut FFXIII-2 here in our country. We all love Final Fantasy and videogames! Cosplay is one of the things we do to give tribute to our favorite characters.
